i install it the rpm in my redhat 7.2  linux and the modem was detected. However I haven't use it in my dial up yet cause my kernel doens't support the ppp . After I recompile my kernel I will tell you guys if I encounter any problems.  thanks mikol.

My drivers have been purring well all along since June 21. If the drivers are
indeed buggy, I've no idea how that happens. Based on my experience and
real-world use, the drivers perform well and didn't break my box at all.

And Thea, if ever the drivers hang up your system, please inform us and Marc
Boucher, okay? If it runs happily with no probl ems at all, please inform us
too. We'd love to see if indeed any bug in the driver shows up. If there's
none, then that's nice. Save your US $30 for about a month just in case. Me?
After more than 2 months of normal use with no hang-ups, I've saved the US
$30. The linmodem's running fine, and I hope it continues that way.
