Ive been playing with wine on a pure linux box, everything seems to be ok, installed mirc, winzip, MS OFFICE 2000, etc...

After installing MS OFFICE 2000, the installation asked to reboot the PC(windows syndrome). Although I could already use MS Office applications excel,ppoint,word...

**Launching WINWORD causes a pop-up telling me that the feature is no longer available... must run setup and choose repair, although just clicking OK  launches MS WORD fine)

I shutdown my PC, and when i turned it on in the morning it loads w/out the pop messages.

Im just curious how do i simulate a reboot in wine? i think codeweavers crossover office has this feature... not sure though.

BTW, i found out that the Office assistant causes the application to hang... when i reinstalled MS OFFICE 2k i customized the install w/out the Office assistant and it worked ok.

TIA
