Please properly call these RedHat 7 and RedHat 7.3. "Linux" -- while loosely/pejoratively used to refer to GNU/Linux distributions -- is technically only the kernel at the core of these distributions. It is also versioned separately from various distributions. RedHat is at 7.3, Mandrake is at 8.2, Debian is at 3.0. The Linux kernel, on the other hand, is at 2.4.19 for the latest stable release, and 2.5.38 for the latest development tree release. Just clearing things up. --> Jijo -- Federico Sevilla III : http://jijo.free.net.ph Network Administrator : The Leather Collection, Inc. GnuPG Key ID : 0x93B746BE _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
