Have you heard of Unix hackers on LSD while hacking code? Some individuals, especially those who are seeking novel ways to solve coding problems, use drugs to induce hallucinations. They believe hallucinations causes the mind to become receptive and recognize the solution from hallucinations. Using drugs to enhance creativity have been expoused by its proponents. John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix have created musical masterpieces while in this induced state. I wonder if this is true with some Unix hackers. I'm curious what members of the flower-power generation have to say about this. My Strong Disclaimer: I'm not endorsing LSD or anything. Doing Silva Mind Control and dream programming are the most effective and safest things to do. Doing drugs is very, very, very, very dangerous. mikol _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
