I don't see how Red Hat limits one's freedom to choose anything. One
doesn't have to choose Red Hat 8.0, and one can still install the full KDE
on it.

Actually, to say that Red Hat should provide the full KDE and GNOME
envronments in Red Hat 8.0 is limiting THEIR freedom.

In the end, Red Hat CAN do what it wants with KDE since it is open source,
just as any programmer can do what he wants with any open source code.
What will ultimately determine whether Red Hat's Bluecurve will work is
market acceptance. If someone doesn't like it, he won't use it. But we
shouldn't go around badmouthing Red Hat just because they made a
programming/integration decision that is different from what others would
have made. Red Hat has every right to make that decision. If someone
doesn't like it, don't get Red Hat 8.0. It's as simple and innocuous as
that. It has ZERO to do with limiting anyone's freedom.

God bless!
