Hi Arvin,

Your journey of 1000 miles towards postfix should start with RTFM, reading
the 'friendly' manual over at http://www.postfix.org

Are you setting up from scratch?  If you are, it would help if you use a
distro that installs postfix out of the box.  Mandrake will do that for
you, and unless you have any special requirements there will be little or
no tweaking needed.

If you are installing 'over' an existing sendmail system, try to look for
pre build postfix packages for your distro.  Doing so will make your life
a lot easier.
