This could be an addition to PLUG FAQ I got this from CLUE, for those who are having problem in using Acrobat5.0 after upgrading to RedHat8.0, here is a work around:
Edit the acroread startup script: /usr/local/Acrobat5/bin/acroread add the following lines near to the top of the file: LANG=en_US export LANG hope this helps, thad _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
