Yes.

To mount an iso image, be sure that the loop device is enable in your
kernel, and you can mount the iso image by executing this command

    #mount -o loop <iso image file> /mnt

No. AFAIK, you cannot edit the content of your ISO image, unless you build
another one and make it bootable by using mkisofs utils. man mkisofs
