Hello there!
I've set-up a PPP Dial-In Server running Suse Linux 6.2 but I
encountered a problem saying:
kernel: PPP generic driver version 2.4.1
pppd[5750]: The remote system is required to authenticate itself
pppd[5750]: but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password) for it to
use to do so.
pppd[5750]: (None of the available passwords would let it use an IP
address.)
pppd[6002]: The remote system is required to authenticate itself
pppd[6002]: but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password) for it to
use to do so.
pppd[6002]: (None of the available passwords would let it use an IP
address.)
my /etc/inittab setting:
mo:235:respawn:/usr/sbin/mgetty -D -s 57600 -n 2 /dev/modem
I appreciate if you could help me regarding this matter...
Oliver
