Right now I am running a similar combination an my workstation: Linux 2.4.19 + ck10 + cc + dxdir-4. I do not have benchmarks other than my entirely subjective "it feels so much more responsive under high loads" though. That and "it works". If you really really need scientific benchmarks please feel free to do some.
