i've successfuly implemented a multi-boot linux
(redhat, mandrake and debian).

but whenever i execute the command:

uname -r

it returns the kernel version of the last linux distro (redhat)
that i've installed eventhough i'm on Debian.

next, the first and second distro seems to have a mixed-up hda list.
(ie. while on debian, the root partition is mounted on /dev/hda6
but when i query for the hda list, it specifies that the root partition
is mounted on /dev/hda5. therefore i can no longer mount other
linux partitions because debian thinks it is already mounted or busy)

how do i fixed and avoid these problems?
