I am having problems with my setup. I have redhat 7.1 with mgetty. I have followed the Dial-in howtos in the web and I have an external modem. Hayes compatible (NEC, Smartlink Modem) both have the AA light on but whenever I dial-in the server/modem doesn't pick up. It just rings. I checked the init strings in the mgetty,conf and tha ATS0=1 is there. I don't know why it still doesn't pick up.
