none of those (yet).
you have to copy one of those files to your system's
mysql data dir (/var/lib/mysql) and rename it as
"my.cnf" (server specific) or ~/.my.cnf (user-specific)
hello, tukayo with an "s" i don't have my.cnf either but i do have /usr/share/mysql/my-huge.cnf /usr/share/mysql/my-large.cnf /usr/share/mysql/my-medium.cnf /usr/share/mysql/my-small.cnf check it out on your machine. you can also try installing windows version of mysql if u really want the verbatim "my.cnf"
