Thanks (to you and everyone else who sent congratulations). It's my
first uhh... "claim to fame". ;)

It was a very interesting experience getting interviewed by Dominique
Cimafranca by email. It's nothing like the non-virtual ones I've seen my
parents go through. I'm glad you guys think it came out well.

Yup, I'm here. It's not much of a story, honestly. You'll notice the
numbers, they're nothing great (five computers running GNU/Linux, in a
network of 17 machines). I am no guru with regards to migrating from the
dark side, and openly noted that our still-ongoing-attempt at shifting
to OpenOffice.org has been met with a lot of resistance (training needs,
users' habits, and the data formats that die harder than habits do). But
I guess if people want to hear from someone who set the network up from
scratch single-handedly while studying (high school and college, still
working on getting my degree) then I'll see what I can do to work things
out with my academic and work schedules. Incidentally, if you intend to
include January 30 in ASTI Week 2003 I'll be turning 21. ;)

I'd also love to advocate Python and Zope but fear that I do not know
enough, and would honestly rather listen to Guru Butch Landingin talk
about developing web applications using Zope Python Products.

Anyway, just let me know (preferrably through this or the PLUG-Org list)
what topics you intend to have speakers handle, or maybe what kind of an
audience we're looking at, and I'll see where I can fit in best.
