The ph-zaurus mailing list serves the community of Sharp Zaurus PDA users. You will recall that this PDA runs on Linux and is commercially the most successful one so far. It has yet to beat PalmOS in popularity, but easily beats it in price and features, since it runs Linux, and a number of open source applications are available for it.
Since Prof. Rommel Feria put up this list, very few people have joined so far. If you have a Zaurus, or are intending to buy one, or are just curious to find out how good it is, join our list! To join send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] When you see Prof Feria today, he always has with him a little clutch-bag in which he has his Zaurus and all the complicated accessories (network cards, mermory cards, etc). He literally carries his Linux everywhere he goes. My gear is much simpler -- just the basic Zaurus in my pocket or in a padded canvass pouch, no accessories but only stereo earphones. So that while you're on the road, while working on your calendar, or a HancomSheet/Word (MS compatible) or just reading your latest download with the Opera browser, you can be listening to mp3 music. Its more handy than a laptop, and is just as capable. Do join us. PMana _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
