I use the Unix mail reader "pine" to read these email postings to PLUG. In the pine "message index" page, the posts are listed in the order of their arrival in my PLUG INBOX. Each post has a sequentially ordered "pine" message number and a PLUG message number, which, I believe, must be by order of arrival of the posts at lists.q-linux.com. If I read the posts in sequential order, I oftentimes read a reply post ahead of the original post, and this can be confusing at times. Can anyone help me to configure pine so that the entries are arranged (as far as possible) by PLUG post number, instead of by time-of-arrival pine sequence number? I know that this is not always possible, because it is probable that when pine opens my PLUG INBOX for reading, a reply post has already been received, but the original post may not have been sent yet. Thanks for any help.
