hello all,
there were absolutely no replies to my post about click and drag. i
guess no one else has ever seen this problem either.
i found a workaround that makes the problem pretty much go away.
as i said in the previous post, apm -s makes click and drag stop
working for me when i wake the computer up from suspend. this is
in gnome, icewm and KDE.
the workaround is, after waking up from apm -s, an an apm -S
standby. then wake up from that. for some reason that is completely
opaque to me that works. click and drag starts working again.
despite not understanding why that happens though, i'll take it :).
