thanks bro. most of the replication engine for postgres that we've evaluated are "PUSH" rather than "PULL" model
we prefer the later for our appliances but the problem is, those that we've tested are not yet stable and if it is, it cost too much or the footprint is too big. and since reverse engineering takes so much time, we've decided to create our own replicator engine that suit our needs. we'll be using libpq and/or libodbc (for other database servers) and LinuxHA.
