what caught my interest in the above link were:
1) windows 2000 uptime reaches 2 years (wow!!!)
2) www.intel.com (apparently) demonstrates lower performance of
Windows .NET server ("Windows 2003") compared to Windows 2000
of course, item #1 seems to be the bigger noise-maker :)
looks like, in the end, competition between the Unix camp (including
FreeBSD and Linux) and the Windows camp will benefit users.
