I want to restrict some of my users from dialing-in to our server.
I tried to add user in pap-secrets but I still have users connecting
even if they are are not added in the pap-secrets.
In /etc/ppp/options I have this:
-detach
asyncmap 0
modem
crtscts
lock
proxyarp
ms-dns my.dns.ip.here
require-pap
refuse-chap
In my pap-secrets:
# client server secret IP addresses
gooduser * @/etc/password *
gooduser2 * @/etc/password *
What have I missed here? Is my pap-secrets settings by-passed somehow?
