We are experiencing something similar. The constant attempts by the
virus to access our server and run code fail but leave behind open
processes. When the number of open processes gets to the maximum, Apache
hangs. Raising the maximum number of open processes is possible but it
would probably still be reached with the same result.
Does anyone have any suggestions how to avoid this?
Thanks
