In addition to that, FreeBSD also releases it's UFS2 with FreeBSD-5.0
(http://www.freebsd.org/relnotes/CURRENT/early-adopter/x43.html) which
is much featureful than the classic UFS, but beware of using
UFS+softupdate, you must have a UPS to gracefully shutdown your FreeBSD
machine. =)
