just saw the emails about RH 8.0 install issues. I thought I'd add my own
fyi for what its worth :) I have just installed RH 8.0 on my AMD Athlon PC
without any problems at all. Its an Old Athlon 1.Ghz using an TNT 2 Ultra
video card, generic sound card, and 3com ethernet card. the RH install
detected everything perfecty and on re-boot I had a perferctly working
system, no problem. In fact, it's a dual-boot pc and the Grub boot loader of
RH had no problem detecting and incorporating Windows into its boot options.
Maybe problems on install might be related to the bios or the mobo ?
