I don't think you need to know if they are using download managers. What I can suggest is setup a bandwidth management tool and allocate a limited bandwidth to all your users or a similar IPTables rules like this: iptables -I FORWARD -m limit --limit 20/s --limit-burst 50 -d <ip_of_workstation> -j RETURN Good luck! --- MARVIN T.
