we have a lot to thank transmeta for (maybe even linus torvalds, who was said to be a key person in developing the code morphing techno) because they scared intel so much at one point that intel radically improved its mobile line and roadmap. if the speedstep pentium IIIs are fast and low power, how much more the new "Pentium M" (Banias/Centrino) processors... although we have yet to see their benchmarks :) but i think transmeta is improving too...for this particular TM5600 (I think) Crusoe, it will be a good buy for simple serving tasks like web serving (those that don't require floating point) -dre _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
