Hi,

All of my user home directories have these files:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] guest]# ls -al
total 18
drwx------ 4 guest guest 1024 Aug 28 2001 .
drwxr-xr-x 224 root root 4096 Feb 28 10:05 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 guest guest 1422 Nov 4 1999 .Xdefaults
-rw-r--r-- 1 guest guest 24 Nov 4 1999 .bash_logout
-rw-r--r-- 1 guest guest 230 Nov 4 1999 .bash_profile
-rw-r--r-- 1 guest guest 124 Nov 4 1999 .bashrc
-rw-r--r-- 1 guest guest 19 Aug 28 2001 .forward
drwxr-xr-x 3 guest guest 1024 Nov 4 1999 .kde
-rw-r--r-- 1 guest guest 966 Nov 4 1999 .kderc
-rw-rw-r-- 1 guest guest 3505 Nov 4 1999 .screenrc
drwxr-xr-x 5 guest guest 1024 Nov 4 1999 Desktop

What will I configure to omit unecessary dot(.)files and "Desktop" except the important ones like ".forward" and those that are needed for dial-up login. Anyway all users are using window$ served by samba.

Thanks for the help :)
