re: mu1 problems

Sorry I have to post it here, my mail to you bounced
(you may have to setup some MX entries also :-)

well, try this....mabye it will help:

> mu1             A       203.172.17.178
> zion            CNAME   mu.edu.ph.
> www             CNAME   mu.edu.ph.
> wap             CNAME   mu.edu.ph.
> my              CNAME   mu.edu.ph.

its ok to CNAME any host, but not NS and MX records.

thats because the delegation follows the IP anyway.
but the edu.ph NS entry is still showing another host.
It should work most of the time (althought you might
run into problems later).

Its illegal for a NS record to points to 
a CNAME record (i'll have to check the dns book on
this but thats what i remember).

why not make mu1 an A record and see what happens?
(dont forget to increment your serial).
