[plug] Password lock out after unsuccessful login attempts

Hi guys,   Is there a way to lock out the password on linux after "3" unsuccessful login attempts? If native linux OS can't handle it, any workaround?     TIA...     AT c",)   --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
