The location code there is an ICAO (International Civil Aviation
Organization) four-character alphanumeric. More information at
http://www.nws.noaa.gov/tg/site.shtml about weather station location
information. You can also use http://www.nws.noaa.gov/tg/siteloc.shtml
to find the ICAO codes for cities in the Philippines or elsewhere.
(Display All Stations In a Country).

The other location code value that can be used is the WMO code but I
am not sure if any of our weather applets use that. I have not done
the legwork on this yet.

I actually tried plugging in some values for other cities in the
Philippines but they didn't work properly with Gnome Weather. The list
I posted before on this mailing list as a diff are the ones that I
know are "active". I will post more information as I find out.
