The location code there is an ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) four-character alphanumeric. More information at http://www.nws.noaa.gov/tg/site.shtml about weather station location information. You can also use http://www.nws.noaa.gov/tg/siteloc.shtml to find the ICAO codes for cities in the Philippines or elsewhere. (Display All Stations In a Country). The other location code value that can be used is the WMO code but I am not sure if any of our weather applets use that. I have not done the legwork on this yet. I actually tried plugging in some values for other cities in the Philippines but they didn't work properly with Gnome Weather. The list I posted before on this mailing list as a diff are the ones that I know are "active". I will post more information as I find out. -- ___ _____________________________ eric pareja (xenos AT maharlika.upm.edu.ph) \e/ [ Philippine Linux Users' Group ] Linux User #8159 http://counter.li.org _v_ [ Python Power! ] [ Debian Rocks! ] [ Unwitty Saying Here! ] [] Software & \\\\/ Free the books! http://www.bookcrossing.com/referral/pusakat ] Freedom .\\/ http://www.livejournal.com/users/pusakat | www.upm.edu.ph/~xenos/weblog _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
