I believe the model that pmana was referring to is the ECS Desknote A907. I 
bought it for 24T (minus the hard drive) from Villman. It does not include 
any OS. It uses the Transmeta Crusoe chip, 533MHz according to my 
/proc/cpuinfo. It runs smoothly on Debian 3.0r1 (it needs the patched SiS 
300/305 driver in order to work with X). Nice 1024x768 13.3" XGA LCD screen, 
RTL8139 10/100 LAN, PCTel modem (still having problems making this device to 
work), USB, and the audio card works with Linux. It uses an ordinary (the one 
used for desktops) SDRAM module.
