already using OZ since 3.0, but i liked OZ3.1rc2 since it had better
networking and power management support. now that 3.2 is released... :)
here are some nifty features in OZ3.2
- the screen can now rotate, no restarting of opie not needed
- the buzzer is now a dsp device
- disable clicks
- reboot the Z
- mv /dev/dsp /dev/dsp.h
- ln -s /dev/sharp_buz /dev/dsp
- play something (in op2!)
- uses the crystal icon set
- newer HOSTAP drivers
- and much much more!
it's pretty safe, as i said, using OZ since 3.0. it can still sync with
QtopiaDesktop but a thing to note: entries written in the Z todo list
will be blank if synced to QtopiaDesktop, this is because QD uses the
notes part of the todo entry as the name of the todo note. solutions:
not sync your todo, put the todo name in the notes entry instead/also,
or write todo's from QD.
