> Hi,

squid) to another hardisk so that once I use the backup to the same PC
server it will be plug & play.

it is not advisable to have a backup disk running mail and squid services...
the time you put back the backup disk, web cache objects are old and mails
in a queue will resend it that is already sent...

what you need is a raid 1 (mirroring) setup... be it either software raid or
hardware raid...

fooler.
