Hello all,
How feasible is it to setup a video link between
Metro-Manila and province for distance learning? For
example, between a university and a remote classroom
... real-time where the professor and students can
see and talk to each other on a large TV or projector
screen, instead of a jerky and small image and
scratchy sound on a PC.

Any idea what the cost range might be, or pointers
to any providers of this service or equipment? I
suppose that the more typical use/users of this would
be video conferencing by the big multinational
companies who can afford it.

What is the communication medium typically used for this ...
TCP/IP over some guaranteed and high bandwidth IP route, or
some non-IP signal over some non-IP link (like whatever
is used in the backbone of broadcast or cable TV
networks)?

TIA for any pointers,
IBPratibha
