read /usr/share/doc/postfix-x.y.z/README_FILES/LDAP_README on your redhat install. has nice examples. u might want to look at implementing alias or virtual maps via ldap. it's on that readme as well.

hello guys,well
my boss has instructed me to provide a mail server that runs on redhat 7.3
using postfix-2.10 and openldap 2.1.17 to be used for authentication as
as a database for users info. but his conditions are that mails should be forwarded to a users alternate email address which is in openldap database without using .forward. any ideas on how i can accomplish this?
suggestions/comments are welcome.
thanks, allan
