Hi all folks, I encountered following problem during booting RH7.3 Lilo ==== At start it says: ........ Activating swap partitions: swapon: /dev/sda1: No susch device or address
did you also check sda like it said in the error message you posted?
[FAILED] Starting up RAID devices: md0 Couldn't find matching filesystem: LABEL=/back-up [FAILED]
get a rescue disk and look at what partitions there are in sda, are your original partitions intact?
the disk may have crashed and lost its partition table ... yikes :(
***An error occured during the filesystem check ***Dropping you to a shell the system will reboot ***when you leave the shell Give root password for maintenance [or type CONTROL-D for normal startup] password [Enter] (Repair file system) 1# I've tried to use here e2fsck and fsck to repair the filesystem but when i reboot, it still continues to show this errors. Kindly advise how to proceed Thanks in advance. Oliver
