Interesting. Available for FreeBSD, too, and I've installed it here.

So far, it does look more like PageMaker than Ventura Publisher (VP). I'm not
really fond of having to create new pages manually like PM (far as I can tell)
forces you to. VP automagically creates as many pages as the document needs.
Haven't tried inserting a graphic -- as I mentioned in another post, PM will
distort the graphic to fit the frame, while VP will retain the aspect ratio. If
Scribus is more like PM than VP in that regard, I think the developers should
know what a mistake they're making.
