Sun invites you to Java in Manila 
  (www.engg.upd.edu.ph/javainmanila) - the hottest Java technology conference in the 
country to be held on August 6, 2003 at the Hotel Intercontinental Manila.

  Matt Thompson 
   
  Matt has 12 years of softwar engineering experience, including building integrated 
development environments, productivity tools and object-oriented frameworks. In the 
last few years, he has been focusing on enabling the creation of software by 
leveraging on Sun's key technologies, like the Java platform. He now focuses on 
delivering Sun's technology strategy to developers worldwide. 
   
  Rima Patel Sriganesh 
   
  Rima specializes in Java, XML, Security and Integration platforms. Her areas of 
technology passion include Distributed Computing Models, Trust Computing, Semantic 
Web, Grid Computing and Quantum Physics. She speaks frequently at premiere industry 
conferences such as JavaOne, Web Services Edge, SIGS 101, Sun Technology Days and 
others. She recently co-authored a Java Web Services book and she also publishes on 
http://www.sun.com/developers/evangcentral. 
   
  Casey Chan 
   
  Casey is involved in developing and delivering Sun Code Camps and presenting on J2EE 
and Web Services at developer conferences around the world.
   
  Peter Karlsson 
   
  Peter has been working in the software industry for the past 15 years, the last 10 
years of which is with Sun. He has worked in applications development and support, 
technical sales support, technical marketing and kernel development. He has been 
working with Java and related technologies since 1995 as an early adopter of Java, and 
has been evangelizing on J2SE, J2ME and J2EE as well as Solaris and Linux. 
   
  Quah, Hak Teng 
   
  Hak Teng works as a software consultant to Independent Software Vendors (ISV) in the 
Asia Pacific region. His responsibilities include helping ISVs to develop software for 
the Solaris and Java platform, software/platform migration, performance tuning and 
technology adoption. A Sun Certified Java Programmer and Solaris System Administrator, 
Hak Teng has been working with Java for the past 5 years.
