Slackware. I've tried Redhat, Mandrake, Caldera, and Gentoo. I find myself going back to Slackware because it's the most efficient (and educational as well) to work in.
Among other things, I actually welcome the fact that you manage dependencies in Slackware manually. Unlike in FreeBSD, under Linux I'm not at all fond of automated dependency checking/installing.
