hi guys,

this has reference to my posting early this morning re
"Acrobat Reader Installation Problem".

i installed an Acrobat Reader version 5.0.7 and ended
successfully. but when i executed the acroread script,
an encoding problem appeared (UTF-8, BLAH BLAH BLAH) and
it the program is aborted.

thanks to Brian Hanks (redhat users mailing list) for his
reply regarding how to fix the Acrobat Reader installation
in Linux.

i just added the following lines to top of the acroread scipt:

LANG=en_US
export LANG

and it worked fine!

somebody may have experienced the same in new installations of
linux, so i decided to post the solution i got.

cheers
