we have a linux redhat production web server that is running on the sun blade server.. specs is dual pro pentium 3 and 2Gig of memory.. problem is we have a java application, that runs on tomcat 4.0.6 and java 1.4.1_03.. users complain that access to the web application is slow.. i checked the memory and processor usage using top and from the top display processor usage is ok.. only 10% but the memory usage is almost 100%.. but when the site is not accessed the memory usage is also minimal...can you suggests a solution for our problem.. suggestions and comments are greatly welcome.
