hi,

i came across with this nifty little app for win32. it throttles the
bandwidth (up/down) of the application (can also be PIDs) that is using
the network (internet/intranet). i can limit, let's say 5kbps to my
flashget.exe and unlimited to putty.exe.

is there any app (bandwidth limiter/manager) like this for linux? i've
seen people doing this in linux, but they're limited? to protocols and
ports, and not app/PID specific.

thanks in advance.
