For ClamAV their virus definition is updated as of 9/27/03.
It been a long time since i visited clamav coz before the recommended
virus definition was to get it from OpenAntivirus.org (which had an
update last 10/29/02). I just checked the clamav site and yup itcan
detect Sobig.A up to Sobig.F. The only thing i dont like about clamav is

that it needs more RAM but come to think of it, adding memory is so
cheap nowadays. Ive had previous installations using
qmail+vpopmail+clamav+spamassasin+courier-imap+etc, what a cheap way to
have a complete email server.
