They provide a reasonable measurement of expertise and skill. Studying, 
reviewing, and passing these exams is hard.

With regards to those who have Red Hat certifications, I think it will be much 
beneficial for them to take the LCPI exam, since it's vendor-neutral and 
deals with general Linux skills and expertise. Being a RHCE is great, even 
greater if you're also a certified LCPI passer.
