You could use rsync, or Rsync, or RSYNC... :) I think its the best for now.

BTW, out of topic, Andrew Tridgell the author of rsync Won the Newsweek's
Smart 100 Australians on IT category for his Samba code. "It was just a
solution for my desktop computer to connect to the UNIX department server"
said tridge, and now its being used worldwide.
