Hello all, We've come across a modest quantity of IBM UltraStar drives. These are IBM DGHS 18Y, 18.2GB, 7200rpm, Fast-Wide SCSI, 6.5ms access time, with 80-pin SCA interface. These are new, we imported them from the US.
Here's the catch -- they are 3.5" x 1.6" form factor -- I failed to note the 1.6" thickness which is why we can't use them. They won't fit in our storage arrays. But with the appropriate cable you can use them as ordinary SCSI drives even if you don't have an SCA chassis. Since we can't use these drives, we'd rather sell them. Our loss is your gain! sadly, I won't sell them piecemeal (too much accounting headache). If you wanna buy TEN drives, mail me.
