hi iris,

    before playing with iptables... dont put any firewall rules first....
try to see if your nfs server and nfs client are communicating properly....
after that, do a netstat -anp to see what are open and look for the column
named PID/Program name if those open ports are related to your nfs
protocol.... then it will lead you what ports should be allowed and what
ports should be denied to your iptables :->
