oo nga.  i noticed that select * from change doesn't work.
it's still that lexer/parser thing.  so you have to specify the
whole database.table thing when referring to change.

but since the original question had to do with an application
that required that table, the questions still remain.

1.  is the source available?
2.  if not, does the program use database.table syntax
     consistently?  or does it refer to just the table name
     (in which case, you'll have parser/lexer problems with
     the change keyword still).  

if the answers to both are no, then it's still going to be a mess
trying to get the application to work with the database.table
requirement.
