squid has this function to automatically try to revive itself.
it is this function that usually causes this error message.
you need to kill all squid parents and children.

you need to manually kill all squid processes then restart it.
if 'killall squid' doesn't work... try to kill it with 'kill -9 pid' pid of squid

Why am i getting this error in service configuration for squid:

'squid: ERROR: No running copy'

In effect, once I stop squid, it fails.  But, when i restart squid, its 
ok but it still shows the error above.
