i altered syslog.conf to store all kernel related reports to /var/log/firewall .. but iptables still outputs its logging to the console... is there a way to flush all logs to a file..
how about the old way?
executable &> path_to_log_file.log
just look for the necessary binaries in the init script then add the line "&> logfile" to the executable.
HTH?
