Overall performance is quite good, RH8 and RH9 are
well supported on VMWare Workstation 4.  Even
Slackware can install but no native video acceleration
(can't do XWindows, RH can).  The best feature for me
is the "snapshot"that allows you to do make changes to
the OS and then take a snapshot; if something goes
wrong then just go back to the previous snapshot.  You
need at least 512MB of memory and Pentium4 2GHz+; set
at least 192MB for each VMWare guest OS.
